1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Sound Architect (soundarchitect.io), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and subscribers of the platform.

2. Description of Service

Sound Architect is an AI-powered sound design platform that enables users to generate, customize, and export synthesizer presets and audio content. Our service includes web-based tools for sound generation, preset management, and audio processing.

3. Account Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration and to keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these terms.

4. Subscription & Billing

Sound Architect offers both free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) through our payment processor, Stripe. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize us to charge your payment method on the applicable billing cycle.

  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the end of the current billing period.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us if you believe you are entitled to a refund.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days advance notice.

5. Credits & Usage

Certain features of Sound Architect operate on a credit-based system. Credits are consumed when you use AI-powered generation features. Credit allocations vary by subscription plan and may be subject to change.

  • Unused credits do not roll over between billing periods unless otherwise stated in your plan.
  • Credits are non-transferable and have no cash value.
  • Abuse of the credit system, including automated or excessive usage, may result in account suspension.

6. Affiliate Program

Sound Architect offers an affiliate program that allows approved participants to earn commissions by referring new paying customers. Participation in the affiliate program is subject to approval and additional terms.

  • Affiliates earn a percentage commission on qualifying referrals as specified at the time of enrollment.
  • Referrals are tracked via cookies with a 30-day attribution window.
  • Self-referrals, fraudulent activity, or misrepresentation will result in removal from the program and forfeiture of unpaid commissions.
  • We reserve the right to modify commission rates or program terms with reasonable notice.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of Sound Architect -- including but not limited to the user interface, algorithms, software, text, graphics, and branding -- are owned by Sound Architect and protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of our platform without prior written consent.

8. User Content

You retain ownership of any audio content, presets, or other materials you create using Sound Architect. By uploading content to our platform, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process and store that content as necessary to provide the service.

Presets and audio generated through our AI tools may be used freely in your personal and commercial projects. You are responsible for ensuring your use of generated content does not infringe on third-party rights.

9. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other user accounts.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure.
  • Use automated scripts or bots to access the service without permission.
  • Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to Sound Architect without authorization.
  • Upload malicious content, malware, or content that infringes on others' rights.

10. Limitation of Liability

Sound Architect is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the reliability, accuracy, or availability of the service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sound Architect and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of the service.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion, without prior notice, for conduct that we determine violates these terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. You may also delete your account at any time through your account settings.

Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. Any provisions of these terms that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

For significant changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you via email or through the platform.
